H.O.P.E.

Helping Other People Evolve, Inc.

A grief support group for those who have lost a spouse or partner

How Can You Help?

H.O.P.E. has been helping widowed individuals since 1978. Community support is relied upon to promote awareness. Without the help of supporters, H.O.P.E. would not be possible.

Your gift to H.O.P.E. supports programs that provide help and support to people of all ages going through the grieving process due to the loss of a spouse, partner or significant other. The program is structured to guide people through the pain, confusion, and denial of the early stages of grief. It then strives to instill self-confidence and self-reliance to help set and achieve new goals in life and develop the confidence to build a new life as a single person.

Through the dedicated efforts and the continued generosity of our donors and volunteers, we are better able to meet the needs of members. You can join us in helping to make a difference in the life of a widowed person in three important ways: contributing, volunteering, and helping to spread the message of H.O.P.E.

Contributions

Those who have completed the program know its value and want H.O.P.E. to be there for others when the need arises. H.O.P.E. is a state and federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your contributions are tax-deductible. Your contribution will make a difference in the life of someone who has experienced the greatest loss in their life and who has turned to H.O.P.E. for support.

Contributions in any amount may be sent to:

Volunteering for H.O.P.E.

H.O.P.E. would not exist without our dedicated volunteers. All of our Chapter Coordinators and Group Leaders are people who have completed the program, support its purpose, and want to assure its presence for future widows and widowers. In addition to these heroes of H.O.P.E., volunteers are needed for meaningful roles including helping with office work, serving on various committees, assisting with chapter functions, and/or working on specific projects. Even if you have not suffered the loss of a spouse, you can volunteer for any of these other activities by calling the H.O.P.E. office at (856) 234-2200, or email hopesnjhelps@gmail.com.
